Our core supporters understand that creative giving both now and in the future is key to Eternity Bible College’s ongoing success in continuing to provide quality Bible education for generations to come.
There are many options and ways for you to leave a legacy gift or bequest that have potential tax advantages.
If you have the desire to leave assets to a charity, but don’t want to go through the process of meeting with an attorney and redrafting your will and or trust, you may want to consider just changing the beneficiaries on your IRA and 401k.
All IRA and 401k assets have the ability to assign a beneficiary to receive the assets. You also have the ability to set multiple beneficiaries based on percentages or dollar values.
This strategy saves the cost of re-doing your will and or trust, and is also very tax effective. At your passing your beneficiaries will, like you, have to pay income tax on any distribution from the IRA. A qualified charity however can receive the monies tax free.
If you desire to leave a legacy gift to Eternity Bible College, we would be happy to talk with you or with your attorney or financial advisor to help develop a plan that meets your needs. Please contact us using the form below and we will contact you shortly.
